What an Hausa men in Kaduna told me in secret about my curves – Yoruba actress, Biodun Okeowo
Best known in the movie industry as Omoborty, Biodun Okeowo, is one actress whose shape announces her even when she is not speaking about herself.
In a recent interview, the fair-skinned voluptuous role interpreter recalls some embarrassing moments she had encountered in Kaduna State because of her curves.
“I know I have greater curves. I was even shy of it at an early age. But I never had any embarrassing moments per say. But I remembered a certain man that used to call me Iya Iyabo then in Kaduna because of massive hips. He was always staring at me. He was like “if you born hen, this your yansh go full everywhere o, because you never born now, the thing too big” so that made me conscious of my shape as skinny as I was then, my curves couldn’t be hidden,” she recalled.
When asked if her curves open more doors of favours as our present day society would presume, the single mother of two says, ”Curves opening doors? I don’t even socialize. God has been my door opener not curves or anybody. I don’t see my body as extra ordinary. I see it at normal, that’s why I do a lot to maintain my looks. I drink a lot of water, I exercise once in a while. Although, I am getting lazy in that aspect though. I also exfoliate a lot. And I moisturize much too.
However, I don’t joke with my Organo White lotion and soap from Victoria’s Beauty. I’m a fan of glowing skin. I take a lot of skin vitamins too. Like Vit C, Collagen and hyaluronic in Capsule form.
